PAC Fundraising

The Armstrong Elementary School PAC raises money each year to support student programs, field trips, classroom supplies, and school improvements. The fundraising initiatives that we run every year are listed below. PAC’s typical annual fundraisers raise between $10K – $15K each school year on average.

Hot Lunch Program

Fundraising goal: $6,000/year

The PAC runs a rotating hot lunch program. This includes free soup days on Mondays, as well as rotating lunch days from different food vendors using the Munch-a-Lunch online ordering portal. Proceeds go directly into PAC-funded student programs.

Freezie Friday

Fundraising goal: $2,000/year

Each spring and fall, the PAC sells freezies after school on Fridays. This is a simple and fun way to support PAC programs. Freezie sales are run by parent volunteers and coordinated weekly. Watch for announcements on the PAC Facebook page!

Christmas Bake Sale & 50/50 Draw

Fundraising goal: $2,000/year

Held during the Winter Concert, this festive fundraiser includes tables of homemade baked goods and a 50/50 draw. The PAC purchases packaging supplies and coordinates volunteers for baking, table setup, and sale cashiers.

Parent Burger & Beer Night

Fundraising goal: $2,000/year

This fun adult evening fundraiser is typically held in spring at the local Royal Canadian Legion Branch #35 building downtown. Your entry ticket includes dinner, silent auction, and raffle prizes. Tickets can be purchased on Munch-a-Lunch.

Davison Orchards Apple Boxes

Fundraising goal: $600/year

Every fall, families can order fresh apple boxes from Davison Orchards in Vernon. It’s a healthy fundraiser that supports both our school and a beloved local farm. Orders are typically coordinated in early October.

West Coast Seed Packets

Fundraising goal: $600/year

Each January, families can order vegetable, herb, and flower seeds from West Coast Seeds through a specialized AES fundraising online portal. It’s a great way to get ready for gardening season and support the school. Orders arrive before spring break.

Wrapping Paper

Fundraising goal: $400/year

Just in time for the holidays, this fundraiser offers high-quality wrapping paper, gift bags, and accessories. It’s a seasonal favorite and easy for families to support by sharing the order link with friends and relatives.

Yearbooks

Fundraising goal: $200/year

Each year, the PAC creates and sells the Armstrong Elementary School yearbook. This keepsake captures student life, class photos, and highlights from the school year. Yearbooks are available for purchase in the spring and delivered before the last day of school. All proceeds help fund future PAC programs and activities.

Co-op Gas Station Number

Fundraising goal: $200/year

When you fill up at the Armstrong Co-op gas station, simply enter our AES PAC Co-op Number at the pump. A portion of the sale goes back to AES PAC (generally about 4%). It’s an easy way to contribute all year round.

Mabel’s Labels Sticker Name Labels

Fundraising goal: New in 2025

Families can order custom name labels for clothes, shoes, water bottles, and more through the AES PAC Mabel’s Labels online fundraising portal. Be sure to select our school, “Armstrong Elementary School (Armstrong)” so that 20% back of your purchase comes back to AES. This is an ongoing fundraiser.

Nature’s Fare 3% Receipt Reimbursement

Fundraising goal: New in 2025

Nature’s Fare Markets offers 3% back on all receipts submitted to the AES PAC. Parents can collect and submit receipts in the clear drop-box located in the Office. PAC sends them in quarterly for reimbursement.
