PAC Bylaws are the official rules that guide how our Parents’ Advisory Council operates. They’re required under the BC School Act (Section 8) and help ensure that our meetings, decisions, and elections are fair, consistent, and transparent.
Our bylaws cover things like:
- How PAC meetings are run
- How decisions are made and voted on
- How we elect executive members
- How we manage funds
- How we represent parents’ voices
- How we can dissolve the PAC (if ever needed)
Bylaws are written by PAC members and approved by a vote at a general meeting. We review them regularly to make sure they still reflect the needs of our school community.
