We want to welcome all the new families who are joining Armstrong Elementary School this year. Starting at a new school can feel big for kids and parents. We hope this helps you feel at home and know where to start.
You are part of PAC
Every parent and caregiver at Armstrong Elementary School is automatically a member of the Parents’ Advisory Council. You do not need to sign up or pay dues. If your child goes to AES, you belong to PAC. We love this because it makes our school community open, simple, and welcoming for everyone.
What PAC does
PAC helps make school life better for kids. We support programs and events that build community and help students thrive. Here are some of the things we help with.
- Breakfast Club
- Hot lunch
- Soup days
- Bake sales
- School garden
- Field trips
- Fundraisers
- School celebrations
These programs happen because parents volunteer their time. Many small tasks add up to a big impact.
How to get involved
There are lots of ways to help. You can join in when it works for you.
- Volunteer at hot lunch
- Help with soup days
- Bake for a fundraiser
- Join a project team
- Help at an event
- Share ideas
- Attend a meeting
There is no pressure to commit. You can help once or help often. Every bit matters.
