We’re happy to share the upcoming School Spirit Days for the 2025 to 2026 school year. Spirit Days help our school build community in a simple and fun way. Kids get to dress up, connect with friends, and show their school spirit. Here is the full list so you can plan ahead.
Moustache Day
Thursday, November 20, 2025
AES celebrates “Moustache Day” every year in the month of Mo-vember. Kids can wear a fake moustache, draw one on with face paint, or get creative with stickers.
PJ Day
Friday, December 19, 2025
On the last day of school before winter break, students can come to school in their favorite pajamas. Many wear slippers or bring a small stuffie. The school feels cozy and calm as we get ready for winter break.
Twin Day
Friday, January 23, 2026
Kids can match with a friend, match with a group, or even match with their teacher as they dress similarly as “twins”. Matching shirts, matching colors, or matching hairstyles all work. It is a fun way to connect and build friendships.
Class Colours Day
Thursday, February 19, 2026
Each class picks a color to wear. This turns the hallways into bright groups of matching shades. It is an easy theme and helps classes feel united.
Green Day
Friday, March 13, 2026
On the Friday before St. Patrick’s day and Spring Break, everyone can wear green. The whole school looks bright and cheerful.
Crazy Hair Day
Friday, April 24, 2026
Kids can come with silly, spiky, colourful, or creative hair. Hairspray, clips, braids, chalk, and temporary hair colour are all welcome. Students love seeing the wild hairstyles their friends come up with.
Star Wars Day
Monday, May 4, 2026
May the Fourth be with you! Students can wear Star Wars shirts, costumes, or themed accessories. Many bring small toys or show off their favorite characters. No weapons please. It’s a fun day for Star Wars fans.
Dress Sporty Day
Friday, May 29, 2026
Kids can wear athletic clothes, jerseys, or team colors. Many choose uniforms from hockey, soccer, or dance. This day celebrates active play and community spirit.
Celebrity Day
Wednesday, June 17, 2026
Students can dress as a celebrity or create an outfit inspired by someone they admire. This can be as simple as a hat, a fun pair of sunglasses, or a favourite character. It is a great day for creativity and confidence.
