Welcome to the Armstrong Elementary School Parents’ Advisory Council (PAC) page for the 2022–2023 school year. The AES PAC is made up of dedicated parent volunteers working together to support student learning, school initiatives, and a connected, thriving school community. This page lists the PAC Executive Committee for the 2022–2023 school year.
President: Pam Rennie
Pam Rennie served as the AES PAC President for the 2022–2023 school year.
The President chairs PAC meetings, sets meeting agendas, ensures decisions are followed through, and acts as the official spokesperson of the AES PAC.
Co-Chair / Director: Rachel Klassen
Rachel Klassen served as Co-Chair and a Director of the AES PAC for the 2022–2023 school year.
The Co-Chair supports the President, helps coordinate PAC activities, and may lead special initiatives or fill in when the President is unavailable.
Treasurer: Kaitlyn Fulljames
Kaitlyn Fulljames served as the AES PAC Treasurer for the 2022–2023 school year.
The Treasurer managed PAC finances, kept accurate financial records, prepared reports, and ensured all spending followed PAC policy and grant guidelines.
Secretary: Laura Smutylo
Laura Smutylo served as the AES PAC Secretary for the 2022–2023 school year.
The Secretary recorded meeting minutes, maintained PAC records, and handled official PAC correspondence.
Director: Carlyn Monforton
Carlyn Monforton served as a Director of the AES PAC for the 2022–2023 school year.
Directors support PAC decision-making and lead or assist with events, programs, and committees.
Breakfast Club Coordinator: Nicole Shore
Nicole Shore coordinated the AES Breakfast Club during the 2022–2023 school year.
The Breakfast Club provides nutritious food to students to help them start the day ready to learn.
Facebook Group Moderators: Aislinn Harmston & Rachel Klassen
Aislinn Hamston and Rachel Klassen served as moderators for the AES PAC Facebook group in 2022–2023.
They shared updates, answered questions, and kept the online community space respectful and focused.
