What a way to wrap up the school year! On June 24th AES students, staff, and families came together for our annual Fun Day, and it was packed with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of summer sunshine.
A huge thank you to our CEAs for kicking off the day with their hilarious inflatable costume race. The kids (and adults!) were in stitches watching the big, bouncy costumes dash across the field. Your energy and humor set the perfect tone for the day.
The schoolwide tug-of-war competitions were another highlight. Congratulations to all the students who dug deep, pulled hard, and showed amazing sportsmanship.
Throughout the day, students rotated through a variety of fun stations, each offering something different to enjoy. From games to creative activities, it was wonderful to see kids trying new things, working together, and celebrating the spirit of play.
And of course, no summer Fun Day would be complete without a splash! Students had a blast swimming at the outdoor pool, cooling off after all their hard work and excitement.
Thank you to the staff, volunteers, and families who made the day possible. Most of all, thank you to the students for your energy, laughter, and joy. You are the heart of AES, and this day was for you!
